Global Technical Recruiters opened in 2002 in Kamms Corner (Cleveland, Ohio). And currently has 10 locations throughout Ohio, as well as a location in Dearborn, Michigan. Started by Pat and Rob Murphy, we have maintained the small family business atmosphere throughout our significant growth.

Global Technical Recruiters places candidates in a wide variety of positions in the manufacturing and distribution industries. We are a full-service recruitment firm, providing our clients with the best possible candidates to fill their open positions, and improve the efficiency of their workplace.


2002- GTR opens in Kamms Corner, Cleveland Ohio

2007- Named 2nd Fastest growing company at the Weatherhead 100 Awards and was awarded the NEO Success Award for fastest growing company in Northeast Ohio

2008- GTR opens second office in Elyria, Ohio

2010- GTR opens 3rd office in Mayfield Ohio and GTR President Patrick Murphy is named “Forty under 40 by Crains Cleveland Business. GTR Opens two more offices in Youngstown and Independence, Ohio

2012- GTR celebrates 10th Anniversary and opens two more locations in Cuyahoga Falls and Mentor, Ohio

2013- GTR opens two more offices in Sandusky and Canton, Ohio

2015- GTR opens its first Columbus office in Reynoldsburg, Ohio

2016- GTR opens its first office out of Ohio in Dearborn Michigan, as well as its second Columbus Office in Grove City, Ohio, and started their internship Program in Cleveland

    Very easy process, lots of questions, friendly people to talk to; answered every question that i had, asked how i heard about the position, if i had reliable transportation, if i could pass a drug test, if i had telephone and computer experience
