I worked at Global Tel Link full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Laid back environment. Good place to get your feet wet if you're new to IT, or fresh out of college.

    Cons

There is not any room for growth, unless you relocate. The compensation is considerably below the local averages, no integrity. Made several promises upon hiring, none were followed through on, just recieved one excuse after another. They hire new employees fresh out of college, and pay them more than there tenured employees doing the same roll. Raises were tiny, if you got one at all ( >2% )

    Advice to Management

Take care of your existing employees, and have some personal as well as corporate integrity.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Global Tel Link (Mobile, AL).

    Interview

Standard HR interview; No surprises. HR manager was adapt at personality based questions, but totally out of his league when it came to the technical aspects of questions.
Was given a tour of the facilities, taken to the department manager where he gave me more details about what they are doing and how, then the department manager said he would call me based on what the HR manager suggests.
