Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

There is so much opportunity to make positive change. Everyday I feel like I can make a difference in our goal to reach one billion learners and also to scale up the operational and governance side of the business.

There is a lot of work to do. Like with any scale up, we are lean and being good at prioritization is a key attribute to be successful here. That is not always easy with many competing priorities and projects.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Go1 (Australia)

Recruiter only asked questions like a Q&A format, one question one answer then moves on, without showing interest or understanding even of the questions itself. Took multiple rounds, not the best experience
