We recognize that our people are what differentiate us. We foster curiosity, creativity, collaboration, drive and bravery in our core values, and we believe that hiring and retaining the best employees who embody those characteristics are a prerequisite to client satisfaction, business development and financial performance. We take care to create a friendly, stimulating, team-oriented work environment. And while our employees work hard, the Golin style is supportive, warm and welcoming.
I have been working at Golin full-time (More than 3 years)
I’ve worked at Golin for 3 years and have been at other places. This agency has a heart and soul unlike others. Golin culture is about treating us with respect and trust. One example includes giving us unlimited time off and work from anywhere solutions. We’re trusted to get our jobs done and take the time off we need to replenish. Management and supervisors seem to genuinely care about their employees and go out of their way to check in and encourage two way dialogue. I think our junior employees give the office a lot of life and energy. It’s a fun and career-building place to be.
Resources are extremely tight right now, making it hard to spend time on non-account work. We need more of a pad to encourage training and other growth opps.
Advice to Management
Keep up the trust and environment.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Golin (New York, NY).
A phone interview, followed by an in-person interview at their offices and then a final stage interview with 3 people. Following that I was offered the role quickly after. There was a short negotiation before I accepted.
