I have been working at Good Shepherd Services full-time
I have had the chance to participate as well as initiate a lot of capacity building projects. Working with the kids has been great.
Communication between colleagues is not always clear or consistent. There is a high amount of turn-over among staff. Experiencing setbacks with youth and families can be disheartening so make sure to have people and activities in your life outside of work that rejuvenate you.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Good Shepherd Services (Baltimore, MD) in September 2015.
prompt start, 2 people, one showed interest in my experience, overall not very informative about their school. The conversation was about things and units I had taught, but there was never any indication that I would find out later I could not do those activities with their students because it was considered unsafe.
