I have been working at Gordon College (Massachusetts) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Family style environment where co-workers genuinely care. Lots of teams that work very well together.

    Cons

Some departments are not as strategic or hardworking. Clashes between faculty and administration hurt morale.

    Advice to Management

    Trust mid-level managers

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Gordon College (Massachusetts).

    Interview

I met with quite a few current employees in my multiple interviews on campus who asked thoughtful questions and provided sincere answers to my questions. I had a chance to meet people within the department I was applying to, as well as in other areas on campus. This was a good indication of the concern at Gordon of creating a campus-wide community.
