I have been working at Gorilla 76 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love working with such a fantastic group of highly-motivated, intelligent, fun and caring group of individuals. Everyone brings something valuable to the table, and we are constantly striving to improve and learn.

The flexible work hours also allow a great work-life balance.

The owners are supportive and provide a great environment for professional growth.

    Cons

We're a very small group, which might not be everyone's cup-of-tea. Not a con necessarily, but not everyone is cut out for an agency of fewer than 20 people.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen and support your employees. I think you do a great job of this already, but this is super important always. In my experience, quite a few companies let things slide and push this to the back of the list of priorities when, in actuality, this should be the most important. Employees are the core of the agency, and if employees are happy, they will provide greater work and love to come to work every day.

    Thinker & Writer Interview

Anonymous Employee in Saint Louis, MO
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gorilla 76 (Saint Louis, MO) in May 2020.

    Interview

I applied online and received an interview request shortly thereafter by email. There was a large candidate pool, and the interview process was one of the most thorough I've experienced. I was initially interviewed by one of the company founders via telephone. The next round was with a senior writer, also on the phone. The third interview was with the founder and senior writers through webcam, which was when they assigned a writing test. After submitting my test, I was asked to interview with both founders and five other employees. Within an hour of the last interview, one of the founders called me with a job offer.
