GCS is a small company with a great culture! We understand that our employees are coming into this industry with very little understanding of what we do, training is a corenerstone of our daily tasks. Our goal is to hire someone that wants to grow with our company, we have a great team already and are looking to add to it.
I have been working at Government Contract Services full-time (More than a year)
There is always more to learn when working in the government industry. Company trusts you to do your work and doesn't micro manage which helps keep stress low. Management takes good care of you if you produce.
Working with the government can be complicated, but that is expected when taking the job.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Government Contract Services (Twinsburg, OH) in January 2016.
It was a round table with about 5 individuals interviewing. We then did one on ones where we could ask additional questions. They asked no questions about myself and seemed to be willing to hire anyone. There was 3 of us that accepted the offer. I was told that after I set 25 appointments my commission and pay would increase. Well they decided that would not happen until after 90 days. Watch what kind of contract you agree to and watch for word like "can". If you question your pay they will fire you.
I was offered a very low amount and was able to talk up my pay. If you accept I would make sure you see a lawyer about the contract and pay you accept to make sure it will not change cause they will find a way to change it. I made 25 appointment within my first month and they backed out on my pay that we discussed. Don't waste your time with this company - you will regret your discussion. I know I did!
