    Pros

    Generally good benefits, huge rail franchise so the long-term future (post 2020 changes) is hopeful if you stick with it for the long haul.

    Cons

    Very restrictive management contract means fewer positions. A big increase in workload and a reduction of quality has made morale extremely low.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate better with employees.

    I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Govia Thameslink Railway (Bedford, England (UK)) in January 2018.

    Interview

    Applied online then was invited to complete the online exercise which tests on maths and situational judgements. I was successful after this stage and was invited to attend an assessment day which included a train dispatch assessment and role play, i was told i was successful and was booked for an interview on the same day.

    Two weeks later i had a competency based interview which mainly focused on customer service which lasted around 40 minutes. Then a week later i was offered the job subject to medical
