I worked at Grace Hospice full-time (More than 5 years)
Great benefits .and nice coworkers
to many chiefs and not enough indians
I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Grace Hospice (Austin, TX) in May 2015.
Initial contact with the corporate recruiter went smoothly in a timely fashion. After that it took maybe a month and a half. I had forgotten about the company but was told that they were so busy and didn't have the time to follow up (should have been the first clue). The Regional Director informed me that the program needed help. I knew that it was going to be a mess but wasn't quite prepared for how much of a mess that it was.
I was asked what computer programs I knew. The Regional Director was friendly and the conversation went really well - prior to the interview I had decided that I did not want the position but I went for the interview anyway and based on the conversation I decided to take the job.
Before the face to face interview I was to have a phone interview with the VP and she ended up not calling. I have to leave a voicemail and an email to the recruiter and it ended up being rescheduled.
I applied for one position and was offered a higher position.
