I have been working at Grade full-time
People are very nice and the hours are typically good. Projects are generally interesting. Plenty of work and appears to have a good future. Benefits have improved since being there.
Not collaborative or very conceptual. Pay is not that good and difficult to live off in New York City. Disconnect from the principals in relation to the projects.
Advice to Management
Hierarchy is hard to understand. I think the firm would be better off if designers felt a sense of ownership on the projects and felt apart of the early design process.
