We achieve our mission through a team of highly skilled and diverse professionals dedicated to ...
I have been working at Graebel Companies full-time (More than 3 years)
Good, solid company that is finally making changes to move the company forward.
Great leadership team, most are approachable
Co-Workers that become friends and family
Pay is good
CEO knows your name, and talks to you
Helpful Help Desk for when I need help
Opportunities exist, if you work hard and make it happen
Leadership is honest - they gave 3+ months notice for positions that are going away
Company is making too many changes at the same time
Training could be better - OTJ training is expected
Benefits have changed from when I first started
We no longer do fun employee activities (craft fair, biggest loser, etc) - HR cancelled
System I use is old but being replaced - should have done this much sooner
Negative co-workers that are mad because of changes.
Some are banning together to submit negative reviews because they know leadership reads them
Food - people have gotten sick from eating in the cafeteria We need more options for food, which have been suggested
Top heavy management structure - VPs without employees
Entitlement by people who have been here for many years.
Exec team could use more diversity. All white men, and 2 women
Org structure keeps changing. i have had 5 bosses in 3 years
Building needs updating
Nothing I have said here is unique to Graebel. All companies go through changes, eliminate jobs, etc. Graebel's tried to be honest and transparent, but some of my co-workers are unhappy and it ruins it for the rest of us.
Advice to Management
Hold people accountable, don't let some get away with not doing their jobs or having bad attitudes. I am happy i work here, i have good days and bad days. like anywhere else i have worked
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Graebel Companies (Aurora, CO) in February 2016.
I had two interviews and managers were very willing to answer questions. It was a give and take. They seem very thorough. I knew right away I wanted to work here!
Please note: Graebel Companies, Inc. and Graebel Van Lines are two separate companies with separate ownership and management, and not affiliated in any way. For more information: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQP76
