Happy International Women’s Day! We’re striking the “each for equal” pose to show our support for women’s empowerment and gender-diverse cultures.
As a leader of our African-American BRG, Malik Ceesay has promoted the recruitment and advancement of our African-American professionals.
We are a leading audit, tax and advisory firm that helps dynamic organizations unlock their potential for growth by providing meaningful, forward-looking advice. Our teams use insights, experience and instinct to understand complex issues faced by privately owned, publicly listed and public sector clients and help them to find the right solutions for their businesses.
At Grant Thornton, our people are talented, intellectually curious and driven to make things better for our clients, our community and our firm. It's one of the reasons our people are proud to work here. From day one, you have the opportunity to contribute to our results and have your voice heard.
We live (and work) by our values.
At Grant Thornton, we are bound together by a set of global values and supporting behaviors that shape the way we work with our clients, with each other and within our communities. These values are:
Our values are the foundation of each step we take toward as a leading firm serving dynamic organizations. They are the bedrock of our culture as a modern organization that is inclusive, respectful, flexible and where employees can truly and fully be themselves.
Build a strong foundation for growth.
Starting your career on the right foot is important. You want to grow with a firm that’s interested in your long-term professional development. That's us. We'll help you learn the technical skills that will grow your career, and provide guidance, mentorship and inspiration along the way. You will gain valuable experience by working alongside our approachable, available leaders, and through formal leadership and technical training courses.
Flexible time off. Really.
In November 2015, we introduced a new flexible time off policy, instead of a predetermined set of paid time off days. Our employees don't need to deplete their PTO banks to take a special trip or take care of family obligations. We are the first public accounting and consulting firm to move away from the traditional paid time off model in an industry focused on utilization.
We do this because we trust our employees to manage their own time, which in turn allows them to return to work refreshed, with better ideas and solutions for clients. It's one more way we encourage you to bring your whole self to work. You decide when and how much time you need to pursue your passions. Go ahead, climb Kilimanjaro. Go to the beach. Reconnect with your kids.
See how employees reacted to the new policy when we shared the news! (Spoiler alert: They were delighted.)
I worked at Grant Thornton full-time (More than a year)
Amazing team; good leadership; strong meritocracy at GT - good opportunity for promotion
No cons in my experience
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Grant Thornton.
I was recruited on campus and Grant Thornton made a great effort recruiting through their various socials. I got to know my interviewer very well, so the actual interview was stress-free.
