undefined“I started my career working in a full-service salon, but soon discovered that I was allergic to many of the harsh chemicals we used for coloring hair, so I had to leave. Just when I was thinking I’d have to consider a new career, a friend told me to check out Great Clips since they don’t do coloring or waxing. After applying for a job, I was hired, and I’ve never been happier in my career. It never feels like work because I love spending my days with my great co-workers and I get to meet new people every day and make them look and feel great! Great Clips is a wonderful company to work for, and I am thankful to be a part of it.”

undefined"I came to work for Great Clips soon after moving to another state. I found myself starting over and knew that this company could provide me with an instant clientele and that I would be able to make money without worrying about starting somewhere new. I love my shop because of the family feel I get from my coworkers. I look forward to to coming to work because it feels like home."

~Jessie C.

undefined“I’ve been with Great Clips for more than six years, and I’m loving every minute of it! I get to make people feel better about themselves every day, and I work with a great group of stylists. I’ve always loved doing hair and learning new techniques that are taught to me by Great Clips corporate staff.”

~Briana H.

undefined“I’ve always wanted to be a hairstylist, so as soon as I finished high school, I enrolled in cosmetology school. During school, I was told that I needed to work for a full-service salon to make really good money, so I checked out all my options. It was important that I made money right away and that there were education and growth opportunities — Great Clips turned out to be the place for me! Within one month of working, I was promoted to assistant manager, and then six months later, I was managing my own salon! I’ve been with Great Clips for eight years now and am managing two salons. I absolutely love my job!”

I have been working at Great Clips full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have been working with the company for 3 years and I have to say that I love what I do. Right now we are still growing and Im actually proud to be part of this company and to be help build our community to where we are always busy. This is the company I will for sure stay at and probably retire lol

    Cons

Hopefully, we get more training. Outside from the academy they give. More product knowledge training and haircuts to keep out with todays styles. Other than that, its a great place to work at and I am proud to be part of it! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Advice to Management

Hear your staff, i know numbers are important but it wont be reached without a staff who is not understood.
