They want you to learn.
Procedures are very uniform, so there usually aren't many questions.
You acquire many skills and receive lots of training.
A lot expected of tellers.
Not much time to take a second to breathe some days.
Very strict on certain things, not very forgiving on some smaller things.
Often don't feel like you have a voice.
Advice to Management
Take more consideration in what the tellers are feeling and thinking about decisions that affect their everyday functions.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Great Southern Bancorp in March 2016.
Went in for a interview laid back environment was hired on the spot.Just wanted to see how your personality fits with other bankers talked a lot about the stl area the bank is really close knit with its neighbors gave a opportunity to witness customer interaction and see how you respond to everyone
