I worked at Greene County Schools part-time

The hours for working in a school system are really great. And the people could not be better, i had some fantastic people to work with.

The pay for a school system is not good at all, minimum wage should be all to expect if you work for them. there are no benefits for part time and the benefits package for full time is crazy exspensive

    Advice to Management

I do not really have any advice for management, I realize that you can not really pay a lot for a teachers aide.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Greene County Schools (Snow Hill, NC).

I had an interview with a team of administrators and other team members. The team wanted me to pretend to conduct a lesson that used technology. I presented a lesson that did not engage the team with technology entirely. I would use a program that correlates technology and matches up to the state standards for the position you are applying for.

    Interview Questions

    • How would you integrate technology into your daily classroom instruction? I was asked to create a mock lesson and had to pretend the interview team was a class of students   1 Answer

Teachers make a set salary and it is based on the North Carolina salary schedule. Your salary can increase if your are National Board Certified and have a MA or PhD
