Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Positive Outlook

GG is really operationally sound. They have not taken shortcuts. Everything is really well buttoned up...feels like a 20 year old company. Great product with a laser focus on a singular industry

Don't expect to get away with half assing anything at all. Their culture is rooted in high performance.

  1. Marketing Operations Manager Interview

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at (United States)

Never had an interview process. The company's recruitment department kept rescheduling our 15-minute intro call. At first, the recruiter was not feeling well, and then after that, the excuses stopped and I would simply get a rescheduled time/date for our meeting in my email, and it was sent after our original meeting was to start. I had high hopes for this company, I researched and was ready to get to know the company, but this came off as a poor first impression, and while I'm sure the company itself is fantastic, I felt discouraged and quite honestly surprised how disorganized the department felt being the company it represented. Nevertheless, I was fortunate to receive an offer from another company I was in the middle of interviews, so I'm thankful for the outcome in my situation, but I wanted to share and provide visibility with my experience.
