Greenspoon Marder – Why Work For Us?

Our goal is understanding the challenges our clients face

Who We Are

Our goal is understanding the challenges our clients face building collaborative relationships, and crafting creative solutions with a focus on strategic goals.

Greenspoon Marder LLP is a national full-service Am Law 200 and NLJ 500 business law firm with over 200 attorneys across 26 offices throughout the United States. Our firm was founded with the goal of providing the highest quality legal services at the highest value for our clients. Each of our clients is unique and so are their legal needs. We believe no one size fits all for professional services. Our lawyers offer flexible and creative solutions to meet our clients’ individual needs.

What We Do

Our team has the experience to understand our clients’ challenges and to address those challenges with individualized strategies. As valued legal and business advisors, we provide comprehensive and tailored client services which our clients expect and deserve. We serve Fortune 500, middle-market public and private companies, start-ups, emerging businesses, individuals and entrepreneurs across the United States and internationally.

Greenspoon Marder Is Committed To Diversity

Greenspoon Marder is committed to increasing diversity in our firm based on the belief that it serves to enhance and complement our existing core strengths and values and further enhances our services to our clients. Our differences make us more unified and more resilient as a firm and more adaptable to and understanding of the varying needs of our customers and partners.

Our firm supports a robust policy of equal employment opportunity, a plan that includes goals for diversity enhancement, and an aggressive anti-harassment policy. Greenspoon Marder endeavors to sustain a family focused and interconnected working environment, positive work/life balance, supports regular community outreach and also promotes diversity through partnerships with clients and other business and legal organizations.

The firm’s Diversity Committee ensures the continued development of programs and policies that maintain and support a diverse workforce including LGBT Initiatives. Also, as part of our firm’s diversity initiative, Greenspoon Marder consistently reviews and adjusts its methods of outreach to ensure it attracts a diverse pool of legal and professional talent, which includes its outreach to law schools and prominence in publications that attract a diverse audience. In addition, Greenspoon Marder requires diversity training for all attorneys and staff, through the firm’s Diversity Awareness Training and Mentoring program. Our Diversity Initiative is overseen by Evett Simmons, firm shareholder and Chief Diversity Officer, and a committee of firm shareholders and managers.

As part of our steadfast commitment to diversity and the communities in which we live and operate, our firm founded the Greenspoon Marder Law Scholar annual scholarship program which provides financial assistance and the opportunity for a law clerk internship at the firm to deserving minority law students. The firm also sponsors annually the National Bar Association Crump Law Camp for minority high school students and the Evett L. Simmons Mock Trial Competition held during the National Bar Association’s Annual Meeting. The top competitors win a variety of awards and prizes.

We recognize that our people are our most valuable assets

We recognize that our people are our most valuable assets and we are always looking for exceptional attorneys and staff members. We welcome resumes from qualified individuals, all resumes will be kept on file for a period of 6 months and should something become available, qualified candidates will be contacted. Greenspoon Marder is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Employer (Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran). It is our policy to provide an equal opportunity to all individuals without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, gender expression and identity, national origin, ancestry, disability, transgender or sexual orientation, marital status, type of discharge from the military (other than dishonorable) or any other classification protected by law. This policy applies to all aspects of the relationship between the Firm and an employee.

Community Involvement

At Greenspoon Marder LLP, we do not just put our money where our mouth is, we roll up our sleeves and make a difference. Not just our staff, not just our associates, but all of us. We believe that our attorneys and staff are our most valuable assets, and that our achievements begin with their success. We take pride in the strong commitment of our attorneys and staff to philanthropic work.  At Greenspoon Marder are passionate about giving back to the charities, communities, and business organizations in which our clients, attorneys, and staff are involved. Our commitment to charitable work continues as we expand our national footprint across the United States.

The truth is companies today spend a lot of time and a lot of money to advertise their community efforts. But, when the press is not around, and the social media buzz has died down, how many of those companies are still working to re-build and revitalize their communities in order to truly make a difference?

Greenspoon Marder is committed to the communities in which we live and work. Our Greenspoon Marder family is proud to have donated almost $1 million in 2017 to charities and organizations throughout the United States.
