I Am A Nurse

The life of a nurse is challenging and rewarding, heartwarming and tragic, lovely and complicated. They are our everyday heroes; sacrificing their own needs to aid another.

Their eyes have witnessed the unthinkable, their hands have put together what was once falling apart, their minds have solved mysteries and their hearts have touched countless strangers in need. Nurses are some of the most honorable, hard-working people in our communities.

I’ve recently asked our Greystone nurses to answer this simple question: Why do you love being a nurse?

    Pros

    Good support and room for growth within the company. They prefer to hire from within. The staff cared about the patients as well as the employees.

    Cons

    Expect more than the job description. Not too many cons for this company, as a lot of employees have been there long term.

    The process took about 4 weeks. Two interviews and the second specifically with the VP of collections and was given an offer about two weeks later. The interview feel like a regular conversation. Simple and easy. One of the best interviews I ever had.
