I worked at Grocers Supply (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Service Sales is commission. You can make good money, but it's hard work, and a lot of hours.

    Cons

Having to hang tags for the store every Wednesday when the store has someone that does the rest of the store, but not your section, so dumb.

    Advice to Management

Make the stores hang all the tags.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Grocers Supply.

    Interview

One phone screen with a recruiter and a phone interview with a hiring manager. Got invited for an on-site interview a week later. Met a couple of team members and 2 senior/management people.
The interview went well and all the people were nice to talk to.
I was surprised about the way the update candidate's application status in their system. I checked about a week after the interview and it said "company is not interested"... what? I mean, could you come up with a bit nicer way of telling a candidate you selected a different person, especially after they had an on-site interview. "Not selected" would sound better.
