    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gulf Coast Events (Houston, TX) in January 2014.

    Interview

    Three rounds:
    1) Brief interview giving you vague descriptions of the position.
    2) On-site, 1-2 hour interview at one of the locations where they market and sell their client's products.
    3) Follow-up interview in the office rehashing the second interview.

Seemed pretty extensive for a glorified sales job, in all honesty. They spent a lot of time during the interviews talking the position and the company up. This constant need to glorify the company was something I've never experienced before and was a red flag for me. I've also never had the interviewer reveal to me how many people they've interviewed and how many people I've allegedly beat out for the interview. Seemed like another tactic to create the illusion of demand for the position. They push the hiring process pretty quickly, somewhat forcing you into making a rash decision. I can't tell you how working with the company would be, but just be weary throughout the hiring process.
