I have been working at Gymbox full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

An undeniable commercial focus but still very much people focused. GYMBOX develop and support employees to be the best they can be.

Managers are well supported and well informed allowing us to build teams who work hard and reap the benefits.

The brand attracts fun and hard-working individuals which allows great teams and great culture in clubs, as well as good relationships with senior management.

After working for other leisure companies - I appreciate the autonomy and respect given to managers.

Of course - access to the best gyms and classes which is great for my own training.

    Cons

    - long hours (but this is the same as any gym)

    Advice to Management

With further expansion on the cards, don't lose the great culture and ethos!

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gymbox (London, England (UK)) in October 2017.

    Interview

The interview was very good. You have to talk to a manager and he asks you some questions about your interest to work with them and yours qualifications and experience. The interview was one to one. He gave me a sample of a cliente tu build a fitness programe.

    Interview Questions

    • Could you build a fitness programe for a client that is 35 years old, woman, intermediate level and she just have 45 minutes to exercise to loose weight and decrease her body fat from 27% to 20%?   Answer Question
