Social Responsibility Team
HAVI employees are enthusiastic about leading and supporting activities that give back the community and protect our environment. In the U.S., our Social Responsibility Team organizes an annual “Week of Giving” in which employees may use up to 8 hours of work time to volunteer in the community.

HAVI Women Inspiring, Succeeding, Excelling (HAVI WISE): Established in 2009, HAVI WISE aims to create an empowering environment that provides inspiration and preparation for all HAVI women to reach their full potential. The HAVI WISE vision is to serve as a business council that elevates the organization through diversity of thought and the development of women to drive business results.
Leading & Empowering Asian Professionals (LEAP): LEAP participants meet monthly to address key issues and offer advice on how to remove barriers from progress and empower each other in their day to day professional lives, specifically in regards to Asian employees. For example, in honor of Asian Heritage Month, LEAP organized a panel discussion between a diverse group of executive leaders to offer insight on disruption and globalization.
Young Professionals Network (YPN): YPN connects young professionals to ongoing career development opportunities within the organization, provides the resources necessary to help employees and the business grow smarter through a strong young professional demographic, and keeps young professionals engaged in HAVI. YPN executes its mission through three core pillars– Career Development & Education, Employee Engagement, and Branding & Awareness.
Black Organization for Leadership & Development (BOLD): BOLD seeks to create an empowering environment for all employees, specifically those of African descent, that provides the tools and support necessary for both personal and professional development. The ERG hosts speakers, engages in conversation regarding diversity and inclusion, develops events around the themes of self-efficacy and meaningful relationships, and more. With the help of BOLD, HAVI culture will continue to evolve into one of inclusion where the truths of all are acknowledged and appreciated.
Hispanics on Leadership and Achievement (HOLA): HOLA works to strengthen the Latino presence within HAVI and advocates for the Hispanics at HAVI by communicating and providing visibility, development, and recognition to leadership. The group has organized forum discussions and workshops with an emphasis on Development, Cultural Awareness and Inclusion.

HAVI employees from around the world contribute time and resources to a variety of global, regional and local charities and disaster relief organizations.
Week of Giving
Our Social Responsibility Team organizes an annual “Week of Giving” in which employees are encouraged to donate up to eight hours of work time to volunteer in the community. HAVI employees choose a variety of organizations to support during the week, such as Feed My Starving Children, Anderson’s Animal Shelter, SCARCE, Habitat for Humanity, Loaves & Fishes, Girl Scouts, and more.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
HAVI contributes to the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago (BBBS), which aims to pair today’s youth with inspiring adults to help them overcome challenges and guide them on the right path. With the support of HAVI, the BBBS event “Swingin’ for the Green” succeeded in raising over $40,000.
I have been working at HAVI full-time (More than 8 years)
Strategic Projects are plentiful at this company as it is always looking to stretch its ability to support its customers in ways that provide best in class solutions.
Currently going through some re-organization effort, however the resulting structure and globalization of our structure should offer great opportunity to work in a global enterprise system and ultimately continue to develop our employees.
I applied online. I interviewed at HAVI (Downers Grove, IL) in July 2017.
Applied sometime in May/June 2017, notified via email from HR that she's interested in talking to me in which I replied back that I would. Then didn't hear from her until 1 month later via email again saying things came up and been out of the office and would like to setup phone interview which did happen the next day. Have done the phone interview which she said she would submit my information to the hiring manager and would contact her a few times via email about status and would be told each time that she's still waiting to hear back from hiring manager. My final email was asking if position has been filled, and haven't heard back since. So I assume I didn't get the position.
