    I worked at HID full-time

    Pros

Worked in Eden Prairie site with a great group of people. Can't say enough about that. Also, decent pay and great benefits.

    Cons

Here is the "However". There are serious growing pains across the company, and most notably at corporate HQ, especially after the HQ move to Austin TX. High competition in Austin for quality workers has hurt in all areas. And the company mantra of outsource, outsource, outsource is a morale killer.

    Advice to Management

Follow the trend of moving product back to the USA. Costs can be controlled and quality improved.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HID (Austin, TX) in February 2017.

    Interview

Phone screens followed up by on site interviews. This was the third or fourth time I've interviewed with this company in this location. It is now clear to me that they don't have a firm grasp on the requirements of the organization. They seem to have a sort of "whimsical" approach to staffing.
