    Fullfilling the word count minimum requirement for this field

    Cons

    1. Culture - it's difficult to fully explain how terrible the company culture is to people who have not experienced it. But let me try.
    Cross functional team engagement and collaboration does not exisit (see number 2 for a potential reason why). In addition, there are pockets of what I believe warrants an extremely hostile work environment (both from the parent bank and at HSAB). The CEO often lacks emotional control, and men throughout the company (mainly within sales management) make hilariously outdated, inappropriate comments towards women coworkers.
    2. Supreme idiocracy at all levels of the bank, but heavily concentracted in the sales management team. There are some newer memebers of the executive team who are smart.
    3. Extreme disrespect for personal time, including holidays, weekends, etc

    My experience consisted of both telephonic and on-site interviewing. I had the opportunity to have multiple conversations with leadership and meet potential future colleagues from the Product Management Team. The recruitment team was very pleasant to work with and transparent/helpful along the way.
