Pros

Hack reactor is incredible at meeting the needs of the people working there. They are flexible and practice incredible boundaries. It is an environment that motivates an incredible work ethic.

Cons

The job (that I had) is temporary and part time. Teaching just doesn't pay as much as a more technical programming job would.

Advice to Management

Management is doing incredibly well. My immediate manager was the most delightful person to work for and I would work for Zir again in a heartbeat.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hack Reactor (New York, NY) in Mar 2018

    Interview

Very thorough! Applied online then a couple days later got a phone screening. After had to do a 2hr zoom which included thoughtful questions, scenarios and a mock student session with an actual grad. Lastly, came in LA office for final interview. Every round was thoughtfully planned with great insight and energy!
