I have been working at Hakkasan part-time (More than a year)
The tips are what you rely on and overall therefore it's very lucrative. The employees are highly trained and offer the best customer service and it's also a very fun environment especially in a very fast paced $ environment.
It's not guaranteed stability or job security. The turnover rate isn't that high, but it's very hard to get in the door and a lot depends on your looks so it's not a long term career.
Advice to Management
Giving more advice to get better at the job by individually meeting one on one with employees.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hakkasan (New York, NY) in June 2017.
The interview process was in a group setting with no more than five candidates. Interviewee asked about years of experience in hosting. Also asked questions like "Is the customer always right?" and "how would we accommodate a difficult customer?" etc. etc.
