I worked at Hales Corners Care Center part-time (Less than a year)
Fast paced environment that is well coordinated between different jobs. Coworkers are excellent and very nice. It's not hard to get used to doing things you need to. Working in the kitchen is an excellent job for anyone with little experience, as it is easy to pick up and easy to keep up with.
Training period was alright, but there were a lot of things left out that should have been said and taught to new employees before the last minute. If you can't handle reality, this wouldn't be a good place to work. I left it because personally I couldn't handle working with people who I wasn't sure would be there the next day. This won't be the result for everyone though.
Advice to Management
Please train employees better. Lots of time is spent on protecting the privacy of residents and not on health and safety procedures.
