Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

    I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Happy Scribe (United Kingdom)

    Nifty online platform where a short video has already been auto-transcribed by AI software. The interviewee is tasked with editing this transcription and rejigging captions to video so everything is aligned.
    The test says it should take 1-2 hours, I spent easily double that to do a decent job but chalked it up to being a first-timer.
