    Pros

co workers were great and offered support. Educational trainings were regularly offered on site by clinical staff. Clinical staff and interdisciplinary team were supportive of the Service Coordinators in working with the clients and meeting goals.

    Cons

The case loads continued to get higher each year. The union was not very strong in advocating for the service coordinators. Salary caps out after 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Some of the middle managers were exceptional and should be recognized for the support and guidance that they offer their teams.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Harbor Regional Center.

    Interview

I submitted my resume. Then received an email with an application and a page of scenario questions. I completed them and received a call from HR dept to set up an interview. I was interviewed by 2 people. Then immediately asked to move to another room for written translation portion and to write a memo in English.

    Reasons for Declining

    Two reasons I declined.
    1) One of the ladies said during the interview that sometimes they don't have new employee orientation until after 3 months because they don't have enough employees. I felt like they didn't put an importance on training and setting someone up for success.
    2) I was offered another position with better benefits.
