I worked at Harley-Davidson full-time (More than 10 years)
I was provided plenty of opportunities for growth and development. HD rewards employees who work hard and drive results while demonstrating positive behaviors - meaning you can't just steamroll over people to get results. Good vacation policy including for Milwaukee based salary teams getting a holiday shutdown. I was compensated fairly and received bonuses. I felt that leadership listened and valued my opinion.
The company has a tendency to sign up for too much work and don't always know how to stop work that is not necessary. If you are a high performer there is a feeling or perception that you can not say no to work.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Harley-Davidson (Kansas City, MO).
They hire with an outside company and if you have good attendance and good work ethics you have a good chance of going HD casual. And you have to do a background check and a physical to make sure you can handle the job.
