I have been working at Harmon Memorial Hospital part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Pros pays okay. But sucks!"

    Cons

Staff are very bitter, miserable, don't take care for patients properly. All they do is sit at the nurses station and pick on each other, and play on their phones, instead of taking care of patients and doing their jobs.. 95% of staff is foreign, refuse to work with new employees, bully new employees, and are racist towards white staff. Staff is lazy, don't answer call light, and play on their phones all night, and gossip< Terrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and get rid of the trouble makers, Lazy, Bitter staff. So the patients get the proper care they deserve from happy staff. Stop playing favorites to your friends by giving them more hours. Play fair. Fix all the leaks in the hospital cafeteria stinks.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Harmon Memorial Hospital (Las Vegas, NV) in September 2014.

    Interview

HR and the Director of Nursing were present. Then the Executive Director came in as did the Education Director and I was taken to meet the Executive Nursing Director. The hospital was presented in a much better light than it warranted. There were many things told to me that were patently untrue. What was presented as the support that would be available to back up the Supervisor was absolutely untrue.
