I worked at Harrison Steel Castings Co. full-time

    Pros

Great place to work and acquire real world experience quickly. Everyone is very friendly, employees often know other employees by name and always wave. Feels like a family owned company, because it's a family owned company.

    Cons

Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Everything is covered under an inch of dust. The smell of a steel foundry will stick to your clothes, be prepared. Harrison Steel is not well diversified, 80% of their output is sold to one company in one market sector. Not ideal for long term growth.
