my experience was generally good. the company promoted a culture of openness and innovation. the company embraced new ideas and was generally receptive to new trading ideas
there were some cons about htg
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Harrison Trading Group (Chicago, IL) in April 2010.
I walked into an empty office with virtually no traders there except 2 from what I could tell. It was approximately 9a.m., so that was odd. I went and spoke to a lady who essentially told me if I pay $2,000 I can enroll into a 2-day training program then proceed to other training programs for free and if I pass each simulation I'd gradually move up and begin to work with real capital.
Reasons for Declining
2-day "training seminar" is a complete rip off. There are firms that would pay and train you for 6 months. I wish they specified they wanted you to pay something in advance and I would have instantly declined going into their office.
