Hastings and Hastings is a very great company to work with. It is a great job to get better experience talking to clients and learning new things. Leaving the company was bittersweet. I loved this job and company!

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a week. I interviewed at Hastings & Hastings (Mesa, AZ).

    Interview

I got a call after faxing my resume to the Chandler Office. At the time it was a different HR person but I think it's now Kristy Humphrey as of 2012.

I then went in for an interview at the Chandler office and a few days later I interviewed with the attorneys I would be working with, which were located at a different office.

    Interview Questions

    • What prior experience can I bring to the firm?
I don't remember what I said but I was hired after my second interview.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

I listed my desired wage on my resume and at my first interview they countered with a lower amount, which I accepted since I didn't have any experience: $15.65 per hour
