Mission: At Hawaii Pacific Health, our mission is to create a healthier Hawaii. We believe that working together, we can make the greatest impact on individuals, families and our communities.
Hawaii Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network of hospitals, clinics, physicians and care providers dedicated to the mission of improving the health and well-being of the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Region.
Anchored by our four medical centers—Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox—as well as more than 70 convenient locations statewide, Hawaii Pacific Health is uniquely positioned to transform health care as we know it today.
As one of the state’s largest health care providers, Hawaii Pacific Health’s network of doctors and specialists provide a distinctive model of coordinated care to treat everything from the common cold to the most complex medical conditions. Its not-for-profit mission means all earnings are reinvested into improving medical equipment and facilities. It also means we invest in research, education and training as well as charity care for under-served people within our island community.
Hawaii Pacific Health also places an emphasis on high-quality care using sophisticated electronic health record technology to reduce unnecessary medical tests and increase patient satisfaction. But technology alone does not explain why our patients are some of the most satisfied in the nation.
Compassionate care, delivered face-to-face, hand-in-hand, hundreds of times every day—this is what defines the care providers of Hawaii Pacific Health. It is the reason why, for generations of islanders, Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox are the preferred choices for quality health care in Hawaii.
At Hawaii Pacific Health, we believe our future leaders will come from our employees because they understand and share our passion.
As an employee of one of Hawaii’s largest healthcare systems, you’ll enjoy Hawaii’s most modern medical facilities and the challenge, autonomy, support, and career prospects you’ve dreamed of attaining.
Creating a healthier Hawaii. It’s what motivates us to do the work we do.
As a not-for-profit network of hospitals and clinics, we take our responsibility to the community seriously. We work with partners in the community who share the common goal of improving the quality of life for all of us.
Caring for Our Communities
Hawaii Pacific Health’s hospitals and clinics are mission-driven, dedicated to providing the best care for anyone who needs it, regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Our efforts include providing charity care to patients in need of public health services and patients from underserved areas; producing medical research education and training programs that raise the standard of care; and creating health initiatives, collaborations and new medical services to improve health outcomes over the long-term.
Last fiscal year, Hawaii Pacific Health hospitals and clinics contributed more than $124 million to improve the community’s health.

I applied online. I interviewed at Hawaii Pacific Health (Honolulu, HI) in April 2018.
I was interviewed by the director and supervisor in that department. I was very nervous at first but they both were so nice and so down to earth. I felt very confortable answering all their questions. They were very informative of the job description and even mentioned and re assured me that they will help me.
