Mission: At Hawaii Pacific Health, our mission is to create a healthier Hawaii. We believe that working together, we can make the greatest impact on individuals, families and our communities.

Hawaii Pacific Health - Why Work With Us?

Hawaii Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network of hospitals, clinics, physicians and care providers dedicated to the mission of improving the health and well-being of the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Region.

Anchored by our four medical centers—Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox—as well as more than 70 convenient locations statewide, Hawaii Pacific Health is uniquely positioned to transform health care as we know it today.

As one of the state’s largest health care providers, Hawaii Pacific Health’s network of doctors and specialists provide a distinctive model of coordinated care to treat everything from the common cold to the most complex medical conditions. Its not-for-profit mission means all earnings are reinvested into improving medical equipment and facilities. It also means we invest in research, education and training as well as charity care for under-served people within our island community.

Hawaii Pacific Health also places an emphasis on high-quality care using sophisticated electronic health record technology to reduce unnecessary medical tests and increase patient satisfaction. But technology alone does not explain why our patients are some of the most satisfied in the nation.

Compassionate care, delivered face-to-face, hand-in-hand, hundreds of times every day—this is what defines the care providers of Hawaii Pacific Health. It is the reason why, for generations of islanders, Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox are the preferred choices for quality health care in Hawaii.

    Registered Nurse Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Honolulu, HI
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview
    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hawaii Pacific Health (Honolulu, HI)

    Interview

Applied online. Received call regarding my qualifications, and confirmed an online video interview once they decided my qualifications were reasonable. Online video interview was with HR only and was mainly “would this schedule work for you” and “when can you start” and “how much would you like to make”. When I mentioned wanting higher base pay than I get currently on the mainland, the HR rep seemed peeved that I mentioned cost of living being higher and told me I didn’t do my research. I have been researching for weeks in general and for this job for days. Any other questions I had would have to directed at a nursing manager and not the HR rep on the call.
