    Pros

They sincerely care about the learning process for students
They collaborate with the developer in creating a quality product
    Quick turnaround pay

    Cons

As a contractor, there is always a waiting period until the next project begins.
There is probably a long list for new hires on a full-time basis.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hawkes Learning (Mount Pleasant, SC) in May 2016.

    Interview

I worked with one recruiter throughout the process. I had a fairly standard phone interview, which was followed by an on-site interview. The on-site interview lasted a fairly long time (about an hour and a half) but did not include any questions that were really "out there."

    Interview Questions

    • Where do you see yourself in five years?
Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer.
What do you think your biggest challenge in this position would be?
