In 2002, HealthEquity was established with an aim to transform health care and help Americans better save and spend their health care dollars. Since our inception, we have strived to develop a ‘purple’ culture both internally as a company and as we serve over 1.4 million American households.

EDUCATION IS KEY

We understand the significance and complexity of selecting the right health plan option for each individual and family we meet. Since consumer-directed health care (CDH) is a relatively new option, we recognize there may be misconceptions and apprehension. Because of this, we strive to provide the industry’s most effective and comprehensive educational resources aimed to inspire and engage.

Our team of specialists based in Salt Lake City is available every hour of every day, providing expert insight to help optimize health savings accounts and answer any questions that members may have. We are here to help every step along the way.

MEDICAL

We offer a competitive medical Consumer Driven Health (CDH) plan for those located within Utah as well as those around the nation. The medical CDH plan offers preventative care covered at 100%. HealthEquity subsidizes a majority of the premium costs associated with both the Medical and Dental plans.

In additional to the medical plan, HealthEquity contributes to a HealthEquity sponsored health savings account (HSA), prorated monthly from the time you join the plan. HealthEquity will also match funds contributed by team members through their paycheck.

WELLNESS

HealthEquity will provide an extra bonus in HSA deposits for individuals and families who participate in the wellness plan.

HOLIDAYS & PAID TIME OFF

Team members receive a package that includes eleven paid holidays in addition to 18 days per year of paid time off. We encourage team members to take time off to maintain life/work balance.

BONUSES

HealthEquity offers a generous bonus program as part of its team compensation package. Every 6 months, team members can participate in a constructive performance assessment after which they are awarded a bonus for remarkable contributions.

RETIREMENT

A 401(k) is offered to all team members to provide a simple way to save for retirement. HealthEquity offers a matching contribution to eligible team members.

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at HealthEquity Inc. in July 2016.

    Interview

    I got emailed and invited in to interview. Interviewed with a department supervisor and someone from the "people team". Most of the questions were pretty typical for customer service positions. They mentioned how casual the process should be and the atmosphere was comfortable. They also went over the position and process following the interview in detail, which was nice.
