Growth, HCSG encourages and helps frontline staff to become CDMs. CDMs have the possibility for advancement to area or district managers which is not the case in most SNFs. Solid corporate management. I have met several and are professional and approachable. District Manager is hands on, helpful and knowledgeable (Shawn M.)
Frontline staff hired as part time making it difficult to get buy-in from them, although this seems to be a trend in most companies. No training hours for new frontline staff.
Advice to Management
Allow at least one day for a new team member to shadow a seasoned staff member or provide a mentor program.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Healthcare Services Group (New Hope, MN) in September 2015.
The interview was a two part process. I first met with the Regional Training Manager followed by the District Manager. The interviews were in depth, informative and well composed. After meeting with the RTM and the DM I was given a drug screen and background check. Currently waiting on the results of the B/G Check and look forward to getting started with this company soon.
