Great culture, great people, outstanding focus on health. HD walks the walk, when it comes to practicing what it preaches about the focus on health. The company just instituted a challenge to its employees to compete against the Executive Leadership. What a great way to promote health in a company. Another new idea is that HD let all of its employees donate a dollar a day to wear jeans and the money goes to charity. Wear jeans, donate money and save money by needing to take your cloths to the cleaners. What a great idea! You know that there is a purpose to why you are working at HD, it is nice to come to work knowing that your are making a difference in your employees and external customers lives.
Some of the transitions in becoming part of a bigger organization have been difficult at times. That is to be expected when a company is acquired by a bigger organization, and is looking to make the smaller company part of the bigger company.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Healthy Directions (Rockville, MD).
The interview process was quick. I applied was called and had a 1:1 interview with Human Resources. I was flown in and had a series of interviews during the course of the day; Human Resources, some peers, VP of Online Marketing and CMO. Following the interview I was told it would take a few weeks. A few weeks later I was offered the position.
