Mission: Bring data science to the masses.
Best Places to Work: 2019 (#1)
I have been working at Heap full-time (Less than a year)
Amazing leadership that cares about mentoring younger employees and helping people advance in their careers,
all voices are heard regardless of title or role
It's a true startup, meaning that you get the freedom to create your own destiny here. If you need help and ask for it, you'll receive it, but there isn't a lot of handholding. You have to be proactive to be successful, but it forces you to be communicative and creative and allows you to achieve massive growth in a short period of time, if you're up for it.
You get all the food you could ever want, gym stipend, and several other generous perks.
You have to be comfortable in a startup environment. Things move fast and change often.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Heap (San Francisco, CA) in June 2017.
The interview consisted of a phone screen, a take home assignment that was approximately 3-4 hours of prep, two onsites, negotiations and then reference checks. I was referred in my a Talent Partner from a VC.
