Advice to Management
Treat your employees like humans.
I heard all the horror stories before applying and was still continually astounded at how the company treated me compared to my previous one. Morale is low amongst ALTs because they all feel worthless.
I applied online. I interviewed at Heart English School in September 2017.
I interviewed with Kent; the whole interview was easy going. (mostly was him talking and giving information about the job). As everyone mentioned on here, he did ask me to do a demo lesson about emotions (sad, happy, angry, etc...). I sang him a song and let me tell you, SINGING HELPS! I got the job. My advice is to be friendly, smiley, and most importantly, show him that you are flexible. I asked him what are some important traits to have in order to be successful at this job and he said being flexible is very important.
