I have been working at Hello Design full-time

I work at Hello as a full time employee and I have had great experiences working here. By working day to day with David the CEO I have developed a strong relationship that has helped me grow in my job and abilities. He has a lot of experience and knowledge to tap into.

This is a place that has a strong core of people who want to stay and grow within and once you realize that you will thrive here.

Fast paced environment that forces you to do your best work and wear multiple hats. Since it is a smaller agency you are forced to own your projects and that will set you up for success as long as you can handle agency life (which to be fair is not for everyone).

The one con I would say for Hello is that we are stronger as a team and everyone needs to remember that daily. You are not in it alone and should not act as so. Communicate with the team and it all works out.

    Advice to Management

Continue to grow and invest in the culture like we are currently doing.

    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Hello Design (Culver City, CA) in February 2020.

I was contacted for an initial phone screening before being invited to interview in-person. I was employed elsewhere so I offered to come in on my lunch hour or on my next day off, which happened to by birthday. They scheduled me for a two hour interview but I was there for almost three. I shared this experience with a colleague who told me this was how they tested new potential hires, which of course is just hearsay, but after reading the Glassdoor testimonials it made sense. I was invited for a second interview but declined, choosing to believe my instincts and the scathing reviews.
