When asked how we'd describe our culture, it's funny to see how many things revolve around food. From potluck lunches, team breakfasts, and happy hours, to Twinkie, slider, and hot dog eating contests, there's no shortage of gastronomy around here. 

Luckily, we're also a high energy environment, so you should have no trouble burning off extra calories with our wellness program, softball/hockey/soccer teams, volunteer opportunities, and so much more.

Parties? Oh yeah – pretty epic. Our HelloWEEN party usually finds every team member bringing their A-game to the costume contest. Our annual Golden Globe awards recognize the highest contributors in the entire organization (by popular vote) and a quarterly award goes to the team's Everyday Hero.

    Pros

    HelloWorld is a solid company with a ton of upside. Management truly cares about our people and wants to see them succeed professionally, and have a balanced life outside of work as well. The company has made major investments in adding very capable, highly competent senior people who bring a wealth of knowledge from larger agencies and who can help HelloWorld continue to evolve our offerings and business strategy.

    Cons

    Project volume can get heavy at times - a nice problem to have - but our resourcing team does a great job balancing workloads across functions.

    Application

    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at HelloWorld (Detroit, MI) in July 2015.

    Interview

    I applied of the position in June, went through the interview process during July - I ended up doing 3 rounds of interviews, mostly due to them accommodating my schedule because of travel. I was offered the position on the date of my 3rd interview. The process was VERY organized. The recruiter always sent me the names of who'd I be meeting with, who I'd see at the front desk, and would come and greet me when I arrived. At my first interview I was provided with tips in how to prepare for an interview at HW. After each interview they would tell me when I would hear from them, and they always met this deadline or would reply back earlier. I was impressed with how thorough and organized this process is.
