    Interview

A Help Scout recruiter reached out to me and we went from there. There was an initial video chat with the HM, a team interview with two folks, a project w/ presentation requirements, a panel presentation with 6-7 folks from the broader team, and then offer.

It was a simple process, but the project allowed us to get deep into the work and working styles/ethics. Really liked that they paid for the project - you don't see that often and it should be more common!

All the people involved were great, really supportive and informative. One thing I'd note is to ask back a lot of questions to get a feel for the company and people - interview them as well.
