    I have been working at Hemispherx Biopharma full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    As a Manager at Hemispherx Biopharma, I take all online comments seriously and believe it is my responsibility to do everything I can to make our work environment the best it can possibly be. However, this exact quote has been used on another online comment site and attributed to a person who has never worked for Hemispherx, so I have to question the basis and reasons for this comment. But to clarify for others who are reading your comment and this response, we do have products in the pipeline that are currently approved by the FDA and/or international regulatory agencies. In our efforts to obtain other regulatory approvals, we have several ongoing projects that also require us to maintain our workforce. It is therefore management's prerogative to ensure that we have the best possible independent qualified trained personnel. We promote an open-door policy as an avenue for employees to adequately communicate their needs and concerns so that these are addressed in efforts to promote continuous improvement. Additionally, employees are informed about ongoing company goals and objectives in order to inspire inclusiveness and an enthusiastic work environment. Within the last two years under the new management, the company has done 180. We are building a new team and the company is headed in the right direction.

    Under previous management, I probably will not have posted any positives. I am grateful I stayed with company and I am here to see it turn a new leaf. Please stay away if you are not looking for a place to grow and be challenged.
