I have been working at Henny Penny full-time (More than 10 years)
Premium products, passionate employees, a customer list that's the envy of the industry, employee-ownership benefits! Every day we get the chance to help restaurants around the world serve great food to their customers. Henny Penny facilities are top-notch and the people are friendly and caring.
Growth comes with challenges. Our customers like what we do for them, so they want more. Sometimes it feels like ALL of them want more at the same time! So, like many companies we wrestle with resource constraints and sometimes it can really be very challenging. Definitely great to work at a thriving company vs. the opposite, but it doesn't come without some stress and challenges.
Advice to Management
Focus on a few great opportunities at a time and empower all the employees to go after them! Try to limit distractions and competing projects.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Henny Penny (Eaton, OH) in September 2016.
Don't waste your time with this company. They do not take credit for their mistakes in the interview process but blame the candidate. I can only imagine how poorly they treat their employees. I attempted to phone this company just before I arrived on time for my interview. When I called I received a message that their phone number was not a working number. I checked with the operator and I was told it was the only listed number the company had. Even though I had arrived on time after an hour drive to the plant, I was not given the interview I was suppose to be scheduled for without a proper explanation. They handled this situation very unprofessionally. This speaks volumes about their poor leadership. I would not recommend even wasting your time with this company.
