I have been working at Henry Ford Health System full-time (Less than a year)
Employee Engagement is a top priority. Plentiful development opportunities. Mission driven career taking care of patients and serving the community. Strong senior leadership.
Only downsize is the amount of change in healthcare right now. If you are averse to change I would recommend staying out of healthcare careers. If change is exciting to you, it is an excellent field and HFHS is a leader in the industry.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Henry Ford Health System (Jackson, MI).
I interviewed for a position in the Jackson Allegiance location. I received communication within 1 week of applying and had an initial interview scheduled the following week. I was interviewed by 3 other executive assistants. They had been there varying amounts of time and had a set list of questions to ask. They were all very nice and the interview seemed to go well. They said the next step would be to have a direct interview with the person I would be working directly with if I made it through the first round. It's been 3 months and I never had any further communication after that. Even just to say that I hadn't made it to the next round.
