As an employee, you are our greatest asset. That’s why we are committed to providing our employees and their families with a benefits program that is both comprehensive and competitive. Our goal is to help you protect your health, family, and way of life. For qualifying employees, these benefits include:
Check out social media.
Visit our Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter pages! We love to post about our amazing employees and what exactly our company does. If you learn something new or find something that catches your eye, bring it up in the interview!
Visit our website.
If you’re applying for a field position, our website can be a great resource for comprehensive information on our different lines of business. You can also learn about our company’s history and see all our different locations! All of these will help you gain an understanding of who our customers are and what kind of service role you’ll be stepping into.
Make a cheat sheet.
It’s okay. We won’t know! Remember, we don’t expect you to know everything. We understand there’s a lot of information about our company and the environmental services industry. So it’s okay if you want a cheat sheet to look at during your interview. Just remember to use it as a resource and not a script. Natural conversation is the best conversation!
Create a list of strengths.
It’s probably the most frequently asked interview question: What do you think you could bring to the company? But let’s ask the question a different way: Why do you think you would succeed in this position? Phrasing the question this way will help you create a list of strengths that are specific to the position. Do you have past sales experience? Are you detail-oriented and quick to spot mistakes? Whatever your stengths, it's important to explain how they would help you succeed. After all, when you succeed, our company succeeds!
You are absolutely allowed to ask us questions during the interview too! In fact, your interview should be like a game of tennis, where questions are lobbed back and forth between you and our HR recruiter. Who will you work most closely with? What are the most challenging aspects of the job? These are all great questions that we are happy to answer! It’s called an interview, but we’re really just looking for a great conversation with someone’s who’s motivated about joining our team.
I have been working at Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC full-time (Less than a year)
The leadership. The CEO is one of the best I have ever served under. The culture is positive and the teamwork atmosphere is awesome to work with. You get clear expectations and the support from all the leadership team and it is outstanding. Coming from a background of retail formats, this is a big company with a small feel as you can walk into the CEO’s office and my bosses office and they will engage and support at any time.
Non cons at this time
Advice to Management
Keep the culture going. It is a positive work atmosphere and I really enjoy working for this team. It is demanding but you have a network of leaders who are willing to assist.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Heritage-Crystal Clean LLC (Green Bay, WI) in March 2017.
Application process was not organized and precise. Had to complete the entire application and subsequent paperwork affiliated at least three to four times. Not organized very well. Communication between their corporate office and branch office seemed in-efficient. Interview process was very quick, not alot to it.
