We are currently in a transition period which makes it a little stressful at times. A lot of mistakes happen do to the volume of work given to select employees.
Advice to Management
Show as much appreciation as possible to all employees
I applied online. The process took 10+ months. I interviewed at Heritage Plumbing & Heating (Auburn, NH).
I took an online assesement, went to open house, had phone interview, did a shadow ride, face to face interview, and went back another open house.... then rejected. Thats just a short and simple way. My process took almost a year. After I had my face to face interview the lady told me I will have an interview with the manager then all of a sudden he was going on vacation and will let me know when he gets back. A month passes by I email her and she tells me that they won't be needing anyone until the spring. I waited until beginning of the summer to call her because I have not heard anything about my FINAL INTERVIEW. She then tells me that I would have to go back to the open house, I was upset because I was already at my final step in the interview process but I went anyways. After the open house a few days later I emailed showing my interest still and she replied that they went with two other people. WHAT? how did they already go with two other people without giving me my final interview and making me wait so long especially when these people have not even got as far as me in the process for them to make a decision 1 week later when it took me 3 months! What is worst about all of this is that they went and posted an open position the same day!
This company seemed great but after this whole mess it seems you need to fit a certain profile to get in unfortunately for me, I don't! Don;t waste your time.
